Hurry Up and Wait
We have had a very busy month indeed! A lot has been going on in our humble little home lately. We've been notarizing, aposotilling and driving to downtown Cleveland for fingerprints and paperwork. To make a long story short, our dossier is in Poland! We can now exhale. It's actually been there for a little while and is in the process of being translated so we can go on the waiting list. We learned so much as we went through the process, and our Government learned so much about us too. Lol. It's exciting to be in the phase, knowing that the daunting paper chase is behind us, and now it's just a matter of waiting. I tend to become restless easily, so I am asking the Lord for an extra dose of patience as we anticipate news. The focused intensity of collecting data has given way to a phase of calmness and peaceful resignation. It could be many months until we hear something, but at least we are moving forward!
Yes! Definitely a time to exhale and take a deep breath all at the same time! It's quite an accomplishment to get to this point, so congratulations. As you enter the holiday season, I hope you find peace and joy - God has wonderful things planned!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am SO excited for you!! We are not far behind you. We will be sending our dossier to St. Mary's next week. I hope and pray for short waits for both of us.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! It must be a huge relief to have the dossier actually there. And remember, ask and you will receive- God knows your anxiety and will send you his peace and calm. :) We're a bit farther behind you all and just waiting for home study approval from St Mary's. Congrats on the accomplishment- you're so much closer to your little girl! Yay!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Maybe we will be in Poland at the same time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place to be. You have done the leg work now it is just prayer and faith. Looking back at our experience I now understand all of the timing.....and how it brought us to our little girls. I know you must be so relieved to have all of your stuff in Poland. Now you can enjoy the holidays with your family. I have to admit I am a little jealous......I would do all of this again in a heartbeat! So happy for you and can't wait until you get the call!
